Why is life exhausting? Mt. 11:25
Are you living your best life?
Are you killing it everyday?
Are you giving it 110%
Are you staying ahead of the pack?
Life is becoming exhausting!
Children are pushed to begin younger and younger
While adults are pushed to retire later and later.
The world demands more and more of us everyday.
And in the face of all these demands
Jesus says come to me!
All you who labor and are burdened.
For At every Mass there are no demands;
No expectations;
Just Jesus.
Who is gentle and humble of heart.
A bruised reed He will not break
A smoldering wick He will not quench.
The sinner He forgives
The Hungry He feeds.
We come here to receive the rest,
that only Jesus can give.
The rest that the Lord commanded us to do.
Not for His sake but for ours.
Come here and find rest from whatever burdens you carry.
Come here when no one else is here.
Just you and Jesus.
And the silence.
And let Him who calmed the wind and the waves;
Calm your soul and rest with Him.
