Friday 16th Week of Ordinary

The Return Jer. 3:14-17

Israel had rebelled from the Lord

And thus had been led away from their home into exile in Babylon,

Jeremiah prophesied that one day they will return home,

And that God will give them shepherds after His own heart to lead them. 

We are in exile too;

Away from our heavenly home. 

Because of our sins. 

The Lord however will bring us back;

To greener pasture. 

For He is the Good Shepherd .

Are we however an obedient flock who follows Him ?
