Freedom on Sunday Lk. 13:10-17
The leaders of the synagogue were upset that Jesus healed a woman on the Sabbath.
For them the Sabbath was a day of obligation;
A burden that they had to keep;
But for Jesus it was a day of healing;
A day of freedom from the demands of life;
A day of Peace of Mind;
The commandment to keep the Lord’s Day Holy is not an obligation,
But for our own good!
