Speak Tenderly Is. 40:1-11
When people think of prophets they often think of Firebrands.
Pointing out sins and condemning sinners.
Isaiah the prophet however was told by God today
to speak “tenderly.”
To “Give Comfort.”
Sometimes a “tender” word dials down the temperature and the emotion so that people will stop and listen.
After all, who likes to be yelled at!
