Gentle and Humble of Heart Mt. 1128-30
There is plenty of passion and enthusiasm in politics, social media and even college campuses nowadays.
But how far does all of that passion and enthusiasm get one?
The one thing that is missing is gentleness and humility.
Some people may think that gentleness and humility will get a person nowhere
It will probably get them killed.
Jesus was gentle and humble of heart
And it did get Him killed.
But it is His gentleness and His humility that changes hearts.
If we want the human heart to change,
Then we must be willing to have our hearts
Opened even with a sword,
As was the heart of Jesus from the cross.
And let the world see our gentle and humble heart.
And then maybe the world will be more gentle and humble of heart.
