Wednesday 9th Week of Ordinary Time

 God of the Living Mk. 12:18-27

When we walk through or drive past a cemetery we think of those who have died.

But have they?

Jesus reminded the Sadducees that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is not the God of the dead but of the living. 

Abraham, Isaac and Jacob may not be with them any longer but they are not dead. 

They are alive with God. 

Cemeteries remind us that our loved ones are not dead.

Only that They are only no longer with us. 

For our God is not a God of the dead but of the living.
